Why does an SAP consulting company come up with the idea of investing in its own product, in an event management software? Are there other reasons why companies choose add-on extensions to existing products? The Past

contrimo is an SAP Consulting & Software House, which was founded in 2010 by the two former SAP employees Matthias Roßbach and Michael Gfrörer. The contrimo company founders started working in CRM consulting for SAP in 1999. In all their SAP years, they have participated in all evolutionary phases of SAP CX and have been actively involved in the design, implementation and support of this products.

The Discovery

Already during their SAP time, Michael and Matthias discovered a gap in the SAP portfolio that did not really cover the real needs of an Event Manager. And this has not changed until today. This is how they came up with the idea of an SAP Add-On software product, from which a complete piece of software has now emerged that can also be used standalone.

The Present

In 2013, the contrimo development hub was founded in Belgrade, Serbia and here, in addition to ORBIS TEM, the Training & Event Management Software, other in-house developments are also created. However, all software products developed in Serbia have one thing in common: they are an enrichment of the SAP portfolio and help to optimize business processes with the help of SAP integrations.
